Asparagus beef stir-fry

Ingredients
1 pound beef tenderloin, cubed1 green onion, diced2 minced garlic cloves1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp pepper1 TBS vegetable oil1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed adn cut into 2-inch pieces2 Tbs. butter1-1/2 tsp lemon juicehot cooked brown rice
Directions
In a Wok stir-fry beef, onion, garlic, salt and pepper in oil for 3-5 min; remove and keep warm. In the same pan, sitr-fry the asparagus in butter until it's tender. Return beef mixture to the pan. Stir in soy sauce and lemon juice; heat through. Sever over brown rice.
Serving size is 1-1/4 cups

    Pretty good. I like the lemon flavour in it. I didn't use butter but just olive oil. I just wanted to let you know you say to put soy sauce on in the instructions, but don't have it in the ingredient list. - 3/7/09

    Made this last night, using venison tenderloin pieces. LOVED it! So EASY and QUICK! The soy sauce called for is 1 TBSP (look in the calorie breakdown for that, she simply forgot to put it in the list.) I will be making this again and again! - 4/15/15
