Microwave Pappadum
- Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
Directions
1 dried pappadum
Serving size: 1
Calories are low, but the sodium adds up with more servings.
Ignore package directions to cook with oil. Just spread out up to four of them in the microwave for 30 seconds or so and have fun watching these thin wafers develop fantastical shapes. You may need to rotate them after they start puffing to even out the process.

I know!! I've been saying this for years to my dieting girls in the gym and they all look shocked and stumped. I said forget the bread Papadums is the new bread. Ever since my sis got me the Papadum Express tray for multiple papads on the go, it's dips, chutneys, salads, toppings and papads all year - 12/25/13

Don't have any at home now. Look for flat packs of 10 in either square faced, fairly flat boxes, or clear plastic or celophane envelopes. The papad / papadum themselves are thin and tan & about the diameter of your hand with fingers spread wide. Patak is a supermarket brand that comes in a box
