Turkey Chili (Very good!)

Ingredients
2 lbs. of ground turkey1 T. olive oil1 c. sweet onion, chopped1 t. minced garlic28 oz can (793 grams) crushed tomatoes- undrained16 oz.can (2 c.) red kidney beans1 T. chili powder1 t. sugar2 c. vegetarian vegetable broth1/2 T. garlic powder1 tsp. Tabasco Sauce1 1/2 t. sea salt1 T dried basil1/2 t. dried oregano1/2 c. chopped peppers (any color)
Directions
In a large saucepan, brown turkey until cooked, drain and set turkey aside.

In the same pot, add onions, bell peppers, garlic and olive oil and saute over medium heat until onions are translucent.

Add remaining ingredients and cooked turkey. Stir well to combine. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Makes about 10, 1-cup servings

    It was very good and satisfying. Although more like spaghetti to me. i would add more hot spices, extra tabasco. Alot of ingredients, but still very good - 3/4/09
