Ingredients
4 cups of cabbage1 small onion2 tbsp olive oil1 tsp black pepper4 slices turkey bacondash of saltwater
Directions
Chop cabbage, onion, and bacon. Place onion and bacon and olive oil in pot and allow to cook until onions soft and bacon cooked through. Add cabbage and pepper. Cover with water. Cover pot and allow to simmer until cabbage is soft.

    I have been looking for a Cabbage recipe that can be both hot and cold and I think this is it! I'm not adding bacon, I may toss in some tofu.

    Delicious! I added 2 minced garlic cloves, 5 sliced mushrooms and used turkey sausage instead of turkey bacon. I didn't add water. I just covered the pan after I added the rinsed cabbage. Sooooo tasty!! - 1/22/09
