Shrimp Creole

Ingredients
3 tbsp olive oil1/2 c onion chopped1/2 c celery chopped1 garlic clove minced1 (14.5oz) can stewed tomatoes1 (80z) can tomato sauce1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp sugar1 tsp chili powder1tbsp Worcestershire saucedash of Tabasco sauce2tbsp cornstarch1tbsp cold water1lb shrimp-small, cooked, peeled, de-veined1/2 c bell peppers-red or greenover cooked rice
Directions
Heat oil in skillet or dutch oven. Saute onion, celery, and garlic, over medium heat until tender. approximately 10min. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, sugar, chili powder, worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Simmer on medium hear, uncovered for 45min. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking. Mix cornstarch with water in small bowl. Stir into tomato mixture. If serving immediately, add shrimp and pepper and cook for 8-10min. more.
