Lentil and Sweet Italian Sausage Soup

Ingredients
8 oz Italain sausage, often 2 links, crumbled2 carrots1 med onion1 large stalk celery4 cloves garlic, mashed1 can crushed or diced tomatoes1 cup dry lentils, I used French green ones, any are possible4 cups broth, any kind, I used chicken.5 tsp pepper
Directions
Makes 4 big servings

Crumble and brown the sausage.

Put the onion, carrot, celery and garlic in food processor and chop.

Add to sausage, cook and stir 5 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, cook and stir 5 more.
Add the lentils, broth and pepper, simmer 40 minutes, taste for seasoning and to be sure lentils are done.
