Homemade Vegetable BarleySoup

Ingredients
onions, dicedcelery, dicedgarlic, mincedolive oilcarrots, dicedcauliflower, floweretsgreen beans, cut in small lengths(can use frozen)barley, rawwatercanned tomatoesbasilsaltpepper
Directions
Add olive oil to hot pan. Add onions and celery. Saute for 2 minutes. Add garlic. Saute another minute. Add tomatoes, water and carrots. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the carrots are done. Add cauliflower and barley. Simmer for 3-5 minutes more until the cauliflower is tender. Add green beans and basil. Salt and pepper to taste.
