Banana Bread

Ingredients
5 well-ripened bananas4 eggs1 cup shortening2 cups sugar3 1/2 cups flour2 tsp. baking soda1 tsp. salt
Directions
In a blender, blend bananas and eggs to liquid. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugar with a mixer. In a small bowl, combine flour, soda and salt. Add banana/egg mixture to shortening/sugar mixture. Beat. Add flour mixture. Beat for 1-2 minutes, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed. Bake in two greased and floured loaf pans at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 1/4 hours or until firm to the touch. Remove from oven and turn out onto cooling rack. Allow to cool or eat warm.
