Sauted Onions & Mushrooms

Ingredients
2 sweet onions, large, sliced (about 300 grams)2.5 c. mushrooms, chopped (about 175 grams)2 tsp. butter, unsalted1 tbsp. basalmic vinegar
Directions
Heat skillet over very low heat. Melt butter. Add sliced onions and sweat for 30 minutes or until just starting to soften. Stir frequently. Add mushrooms and sweat for another 30 minutes, stiring frequently. When volume of vegetables has reduced by half turn up heat slightly. Add basalmic vinegar and stir until incorporated into vegetables.

Serve as garnish to a steak or great ontop of a potato.

Makes two servings.
