Honey Chili Sauce

Ingredients
1/4 cup onions or shallots2/3 cup honey1/4 cup vinegar1 tsp splenda1 tsp chili powder1/4 teaspoon ground cumin 1 and 1/2 cups fat-free/low sodium chicken brothsalt and pepper to taste(Optional ingrediant: 3 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions
Coat saute pan with cooking spray and saute onions until tender on medium-high heat.

Add the honey and vinegar. Quickly stir in the chili powder, cumin, splenda and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and reduce by half.

Transfer sauce to a blender or food processor and blend at high speed until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

Great over chicken!!
