creamy pureed turnips

Ingredients
2 cups peeled diced turnips2 Tbsp half and halfSalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Steam the turnips till soft (about 5 minutes)
put in a metal bowl with half and half
puree with plunge blender, or
mash with potato masher, or puree in cuisinart...
add salt and pepper.
Makes 4 1/2 cup servings
