Slowcooker Mulligatawny Soup

Ingredients
5 chicken breast4 cups of chicken broth1 onion chopped3 carrots chopped1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp pepper1/2 garlic powderIn the last hour or two add:2 tbsp. curry powder1/4 cup coconut milk3 peeled and chopped applesbrown rice, cooked 1 cup(added last 30 mins)
Directions
I added all the first ingredients into my slowcooker and cooked for 8-10 hours on slow. In the last 2 hours I added the final three ingredients. I cooked until the apple was soft and tender. You can add a cup of cooked brown rice to the pot in the last 30 mins. of cooking also. Or just add it into the bowl before serving.
