8 oz. whole wheat spaghetti noodles (dry)8 oz mushrooms, sliced5oz extra lean ground beef (uncooked)1 red onion, sliced thinly1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp black pepper1/2 c water2 Tbsp Chinese black bean sauce
1. Cook the noodles according to the package directions.
2. Meanwhile, spray a large skillet with nonstick spray and set over high heat. Add mushrooms, beef onion, salt and pepper; cook, stirring frequently and using a spoon to break up the beef, until it is no longer pink, about 3 minutes.
3. Drain noodles and rinse until cool. Drain well. Add the water, bean sauce, and noodles to the skillet; cook, stirring, until hot, about 3 minutes.
