Pour 8 cups of water into a pitcher
Thinly slice cucumber with peel still on
Slice lemon
Add cucumber and lemon to the water
Chill for about an hour

I am allergic to citrus fruits so I had to alter the ingredients. I use pineapple chunks in place of the lemon and it really was refreshing. I let my 4 children taste it and they all liked it and even said they would drink it again. This is something I never would have thought of. - 10/9/07

I used to drink this a lot, especially when I was pregnant. It was great, because I hate drinking plain water. I love having flavor in what I drink. I will say, even cucumbers & lemon got kind of boring after a while, but, still, I love this trick to help make water more interesting. - 1/1/15
