2 lbs round steak, trimmed of fatsalt and pepper to taste1/4 cup all-purpose flour1 medium onion chopped2 garlic cloves, chopped1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chilies3/4 cup water
Season the steak with salt and pepper and dust both sides with flour. In a large skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray, brown the steak over medium- high heat on both sides, about six minutes total. Add the onion, garlic, tomtoes and green chilies, and water bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until steak is tender. makes 6 servings
