chickpea pilaf

Ingredients
4 tbsp olive oil1 c. chopped onion1 cup fresh mushroomsorzo 1 lbrice 2 cups1 lb 13 oz can chickpeas, rinsed1 can vegetable broth 4 cups waterseason to taste with sea salt, pepper, tarragon, chili powder.
Directions
In large pan (electric skillet is good)
Saute onions and mushrooms in 2 tbsp olive oil till soft.
Push to one side and add the other 2 tbsp olive oild. Put orzo and rice in and mix to coat with oil, saute till slightly browned.
Add chickpeas , veg. broth,water and seasonings.
Cover and bring to a boil. simmer for 25 min or till rice is soft.
