White Bean and Bacon Soup

Ingredients
14 cups waterBeans, great northern 2 lbs driedOnions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia)turkey bacon 16 slicesSalt, to tastePepper, black, to taste
Directions
Soak beans. Cook, drain and crumble bacon. Add to beans, along with chopped onions. Season to taste. Cook until beans are tender.
