Oatmeal and Wheat Flour Berry Pancakes

1 C whole wheat flour2 T brown sugar2 T baking powder3/4 t. salt1 1/2 C quick cooking oats2 C nonfat milk3 eggs, beaten1/4 C cinnamon applesauce1/2 C frozen mixed berries
1. Preheat a lightly oiled griddle over medium heat.
2. In a large bowl, mix whole wheat flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. In a small bowl, mix oats and milk. Whisk in eggs and applesauce. Pour into the flour mixture all at once. Continue mixing until smooth. Gently fold in the berries.
4. Pour batter about 1/4 cup at a time onto the prepared griddle. Cook 1 to 2 minutes, until bubbly. Flip, and continue cooking until lightly browned.
