Green Chile Beef Stew

Ingredients
Lean ground beefgarilc powder- add to your taste and or 4-5 cloves garlic mincedonion powder-add to you tastesalt- to tasteground pepper- to taste1 large onion- chopped2-3 medium potatoes peeled, cubed3-4 cups hot watergreen chile, chopped -add to you taste and heat preference2-3 whole fresh tomatoes diced or 1 can whole tomatoes with juice8 oz can tomato sauce --only if using fresh tomatoes
Directions
makes 8-10 1 cup servings depends on amount of water used.

Directions:
1. Brown ground beef and onion in a large stock pot. Season with salt, ground pepper, garlic and onion powder.
2. Add water. Bring to boil. Add green, potatoes, tomatoes and tomato sauce if using fresh tomatoes.Add season if needed. Bring back to boil, reduce and simmer for 1 hr. Stir occationally.
3. Add more seasoning if need 30 minutes into cooking.

Serve with warm flour tortillas and homemade pinto beans.
