Ingredients
About 25 small apples, cut into about half inch pieces. Enough to fill a 5 quart pan. 1 cup sugar and about 60 cinnamon red hots or about 1/3 cup. 1 cup water.NOTE: You can use splenda in the instead of sugar. Either half sugar and half splenda or all splenda. It would cut the calories way down.
Directions
Combine apples, sugar, red hots and 1 cup of water. Simmer until apples are very tender and liquid starts to thicken. Mash apples to make smaller sizes. Serve hot or cold.
