Heather's Beef, Barley & Vegetable Stew for the CrockPot

10 oz. stew meat, cut into 1/2-inch pieces1 medium onion, chopped8 oz baby carrots (about 30)1 can low sodium diced tomatoes, undrained3 cups low sodium beef broth2 small cans low sodium V8 juice1/2 c all purpose flour1 T Worcestershire sauce1 t sugar1 t dried marjoram leaves1/4 t fresh ground pepper4 medium sized new potatoes, cut in chunks1/2 c pearl barley
Mix all ingredients except beef in 6 quart slow cooker. Add beef (do not stir). Cover and cook on low heat for 8 - 9 hours or until vegetables are tender. Stir well before serving.
