Low-Fat Blueberry Muffins

1.5 cups whole wheat flour3/4 cup Splenda1/2 tsp salt2 tsp baking powder1 snack size unsweetened apple sauce1 egg1/3 cup milk1 pint fresh blueberries1/2 tsp cinnamon1/4 tsp nutmeg1 tbsp lemon peel
Makes 8 large muffins.
-Preheat over to 400. Grease or line muffin cups.
- Combine the flour, Splenda, salt and baking powder, spices, and lemon peel.
- Add apple sauce, egg, and milk with flour mixture.
- Fold in blueberries. Fill the muffin cups all the way to the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
