ginger chocolate chunk cookies

Ingredients
2 c spelt flour1 t cocoa1 1/2 t cinnamon1 t baking soda1 t ginger1/4 t each nutmeg and cloves1/2 c butter1/2 c molasses1/4 c maple syrup1 T fresh grated ginger root3/4 c chocolate chips
Directions
Combine dry ingredients.

In a separate bowl, cream butter with mixer and add molasses and syrup and fresh ginger. Gradually beat in dry ingredients and chocolate chips. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Bake at 325 F for 10 to 12 minutes.
