Incredible Double Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar1/4 cup granulated sugar1/4 cup butter, room temperature2 large eggs1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract1 1/4 cup all purpose flour1 teaspoon baking powder1 package (8 oz) semi-sweet baking squares, coarsely chopped
Directions
Yield: 36 cookies

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Melt chocolate chips in microwave safe bow, stirring every 30 seconds.
3. Add sugars, butter, eggs and vanilla into the melted chocolate immediately (while still warm); mix until butter is melted.
4. Combine flour and baking powder in large bowl; whisk.
5. Add melted chocolate mixture; stir until combined. Add chopped baking sqaures.
6. Drop by tablespoon full onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes for soft middles or 12 minutes for crispy cookies.
7. Cool for one minute, remove from cookie sheet and cool completely on rack.

HELPFUL HINTS:
1) cookie is very rich, you may want to make them smaller.
2) when dropping batter onto cookie sheet, make sure the bottom of cookies is flour mixture and not all chocolate chunks or cookies will break easily
