Fried cabbage

Ingredients
1 small head of cabbage, chopped1/2 medium onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, chopped1 tbs buttersalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Melt the butter in a skillet.
Saute the onion and garlic until tender.
Add the cabbage and saute until tender crisp.
Season with salt and pepper.

This is great served with mashed or boiled potatoes.

    The butter kind of kills it for the healthy part, but if you use something like Farmer Boy Greek salad dressing or olive oil instead, it makes a HUGE difference. I also find that 1 TBSP just isn't enough to properly do the job. Mix the cabbage with mashed potatoes for sure. Yum! - 3/15/07
