Asparagus Pasta

Ingredients

1lb fresh asparagus, Thick ends cut off and stalks cut in half.3 cloves of minced garlic4 anchovy fillets, minced fine1tbsp olive oil1tsp becel1/2 lg red pepper chopped1c white wine500 grams pasta (I use the wagonwheel ones)
Put large pot of water to boil. Add pasta when ready. Reserve 1 cup of cooking water before draining pasta.
Combine olive oil and becel in large saute pan. Melt over med/lo heat.
When melted add garlic and anchovies. Saute until anchovies are melted. Add red pepper and saute another 2 minutes. Add asparagus. Toss to coat.
Turn heat to med high and add wine. Cook until asparagus is tender crisp. Add 1 cup of cooking water from pasta to skillet.
Add pasta toss to coat.
Serve with cracked pepper and or parmesan. Enjoy!
