Chicken Lo Mein

1 tsp chicken base1 cup boiling water6 oz. boneless chicken breast, cut into strips1/8 cup dry white wine1/4 cup soy sauce2 tsp cornstarch1 tsp sesame oil1-2 clove garlic1/2 tsp ground fresh ginger1/2 onion, diced or sliced1 1/2 cup finely sliced cabbage1 cup sliced mushrooms1/2 cup sliced/shredded carrot4 oz. uncooked wheat spaghettidash of red pepper flakes
Makes 2 servings.
Cook pasta according to directions on box.
Disolve chix base into hot water. Pour 1/2 of water into large skillet, bring to a boil than add chicken and simmer till chicken is cooked. Remove chicken from pan.
In a small bowl combine wine, soy and cornstarch, stirring till smooth. Add to broth in pan. Add oil, than add garlic and ginger. Next add veggies and cook till tender crisp. Add chicken and cooked pasta tossing until heated through.
Add in cornstarch and cook for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
