Directions
1 Pkg (14 oz) Hillshire Farms Lite Smoked Sausage3 Jalapeno Peppers, sliced1 Green Pepper, cut into bite sized chunks1 Red Pepper, cut into bite sized chunks1 Sweet Onion, cut into bite sized chunks1 Foil Cooking Bag1/4 Cup Tabasco Sauce1 (10 oz) Jar of Sweet and Sour Sauce
1. Cut up the sausage, peppers, and onions and place in a foil bag
2. Mix tabasco sauce with sweet and sour sauce in a small bowl
3. Pour the liquid mixture over the ingredients in the foil bag
4. Seal the edges of the foil bag tightly
5. Place the foil on the grill
6. Cook for 45 minutes, turning the bag over every 15 minutes
7. Slit the bag open and serve!
Make your own foil bag!
Take a 12"x18" sheet of heavy duty foil and lay it flat, put food on the foil, take a second sheet of the same size and lay on top of food. Fold and crimp the edges.
This recipe has a spicy kick...you can turn it down a couple notches by reducing the amount of jalapeno peppers and getting rid of the seeds. You can also reduce the amount of tabasco sauce. It's very versatile, so make it how you like it!
I throw mine over rice or on top of crusty french bread! Both are so good!
