French Toast Casserole

Ingredients
1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine, 1 1/2 cup b. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, a loaf of bread, 6 eggs, 2 cups milk, 1 cup syrup
Directions
melt butter or margarine, combine with brown sugar and cinnamon until it creates a paste. Place in bottom of 13X9 pan. Layer 2 layers of bread in pan. Beat eggs and milk together and pour over the top. Bake for 30 minutes, pour syrup over top and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
