Ingredients
Lean ground beef 2 pounds3 heads green cabbage (chopped)3 medium onions (chopped)saltpepper to tasteUse either Pita Bread for sandwichesor frozen bread dough for cabbageburgers
Directions
Brown ground beef with chopped onions, after meat is browned add chopped cabbage to meat mixture until cabbage is tender. Salt and Pepper to taste.
If you make with bread dough. Thaw the bread dough and let it raise per instructions. Roll out with rolling pin and cut into squares, add meat mixture and pinch corners into the middle and lie in baking pan pinched side down. Bake for 30-40 minutes at 350 preheated oven or until golden brown. Make sure bottoms are not doughy. For pita sandwiches, warm pita bread and put meat mixture into pitas and serve warm.
