Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

2/3 cup chunky peanut butter1 (14 oz) can fat free sweetened condensed milk, divided1 tsp vanilla extract, divided1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with foil.
2. Place peanut butter and 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk in a medium bowl. Microwave at HIGH 2 1/2 minutes. Stir and microwave 30 seconds. Stir in 1/2 teasppoon vanilla. Spread mixture in pan, pressing into an even layer with fingers.
3. Place remaining sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips in a medium bowl. Microwave at HIGH 1 1/2 minutes. Add remaining vanilla; stir until smooth. Pour chocolate mixture over peanut butter mixture; spread with a small spatula. Chill until firm. (about an hour) Cut into 20 rectangular pieces. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.

Like the creator said, they definitely satisfy a sweet tooth. A few complaints/things I would change:
1) If you put a chocolate layer on bottom as well you'd have a Reese's :D
2) They are REALLY rich...almost like fudge. I'd like to find a way to incorporate this into a cakier type recipe - 3/28/09
