Elbow Macaroni with Ground Turkey, Tomatoes, Peppers, Onions

Ingredients
1/2 box Barilla Elbow Macaroni (16 oz)1 can tomato sauce1 can tomatoes, diced1 cup chopped onions1 cup chopped green peppers1/2 cup dry red wine of choice3 cloves garlic, pressedItalian seasoning to taste1 lb ground turkey
Directions
Brown turkey then add onions, peppers, garlic, spices and sautee until vegetables are semi-cooked. Add red wine, stir and cook for a few minutes before adding sauce and diced tomatoes.
Cook pasta as directed on box, boiling 7 minutes for al dente. Drain.
Add sauce to pasta and toss. Serve garnished with ground parmesan cheese if desired.


Makes 8 servings of 1 1/2 cups each.
