Japanese eggs (for bento box)

Ingredients
Directions
1 lg egg2 tsp water1 tsp soy sauce1/2 tsp sugar
Beat all ingredients together. Heat small non-stick skillet over med heat until hot (water dances when dropped on skillet). Pour eggs into skillet. stir lightly with a fork until half cooked. With a spatula, fold in half. Then fold 1/3 down. Fold the other 1/3 up. Cook until lightly browned, then flip and cook other side until lightly brown. To serve, cut in half and place in bento box with cut sides up so you can see all the layers.

Tamagoyaki.
That is the dish you have just described. A japanese rolled omelette, delicious filled or unfilled, but definitely tamagoyaki. It can also be made by simply rolling it. That being said, this recipe is good, but can be made better by adding a splash or two of sake, mirin, or white wine. - 10/4/11

Thanks for giving the name, I forgot what it was when I put the recipe up and just haven't gotten around to putting it up since then. And I BET it would be good with those things!
