Mushroom-Beef Stew - Crockpot Style

Ingredients
1.5 lbs Round Steak2 Tbsp Olive Oil1/8 cup whole wheat flour3 small-medium potatos3 large carrots1lb sliced mushrooms (about 2 cups raw)1 Clove Garlic1/2 Cup Chopped or Sliced Onions1 tsp Oregano2 cups canned tomatoes ( or 1 15oz can)1 Tsp Ground Celery Seed1/4 cup dry sherry or burgundy
Directions
Cut steak into cubes, roll in flour and brown in olive oil in skillit.

Put beef and remaining ingrediants into crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours.

    Ummm, yummy, but it seems to be lacking moisture? I cooked mine on the stove, and had to add LOTS of water, not sure what would happen in the crock, but I cook with the crock a lot, and I cant imagine it makes enough liquid on its own. - 1/9/14
