Spaghetti w/meat sauce

1 1/2 lbs. Hamburge29 oz. can tomato sauce28 oz. can whole tomamtoes1 whole green pepper, large, chopped1 small onion, diced1 4 oz. can mushrooms, drained1.5 teas. ground garlic.25 teas. each salt & pepper.25 teas. ground marjoram.25 teas. ground sage1 TBLS. oregano flakes.25 teas. ground thyme1 teas. basil1.5 teas. sugar.5 TBLS. Italian seasoning1 bay leaf
Cook Hamburger until done, season to taste (I use salt, pepper, and Lawry's, not listed in ingred.).
Meanwhile, in a large pot, combine all ingred. When hamburger is done, drain and add to sauce. Cook on low heat until peppers & onions are done & everything is hot. Makes approx. 10 cups. I do .75 cup serving.

This sounds good, do you pour it over spaghetti? If so is that included in the calories? - 2/28/09

Yes, I do. Spaghetti noodles are not included in the calories. I forgot to put them in. Also I forgot to put water in the recipe and can't figure out how to add it. I put 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water in. If you like your sauce thicker, don't add the water.
