crab & shrimp stuffed shells

Ingredients
1/4 cup tiny shrimp1 cup imitation crab8 oz cream cheese15 oz ricotta cheese2 cups alfredo saucemozzarella cheese1 tsp salt/pepper/garlic powder2 tsp minced garlic8 oz pasta shells cooked as directed
Directions
cook pasta shells as directed. Drain & rinse in cold water.

While pasta shells are cooking, prepare the filling.

Mix the cream cheese, ricotta cheese, 1 cup alfredo sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion & minced garlic together.

Add crab & shrimp. Mix.

Put a layer of alfredo sauce in the bottom of 9X13 pan (just enough to cover the bottom of the pan). Fill shells with mixture & put in the pan. Layer remaining alfredo sauce over shells, sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.

Cover & bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.

    This sounds delicious and something that my husband would like. I wonder if you've tried making your own alfredo sauce with fat free half and half and replacing the cheeses with lower fat options? - 6/23/09
