Ingredients
HEALTHY RECIPE: * Water, tap, 1.25 cup (8 fl oz) (remove) * Vital wheat gluten, 75 (remove) * Whole Wheat Flour, 2.50 cup (remove) * Yeast, bakers, 0.25 ounce (remove) * Applesauce, unsweetened, 0.20 cup (remove)ORIGINAL RECIPE: * Water, tap, 1.25 cup (8 fl oz) (remove) * Yeast, bakers, 0.25 ounce (remove) * Salt, 0.5 tsp (remove) * Whole Wheat Flour, 2.5 cup (remove) * Vital wheat gluten, 75 grams (remove) * Rosemary, dried, 1 tbsp (remove) * Olive Oil, Extra Virgin, 3.5 tbs (remove)rosemary, salt and oil for brushing/garnish.
Directions
combine yeast and water. stir in oil, any herbs you want and flour to make a soft dough. if sticky work in a little flour. knead 5-6 minutes. oil bowl, cover and let rise 1 hour. punch down and knead a little and form into a circle 1 1/2 inches thick. transfer to a oiled cookie sheet. poke holes in dough with fingers, brush with oil, herbs and salt. cover and rise again 20 minutes. bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
