1 cup sliced green onions1/2 cup chopped green sweet pepper1/2 cup chopped celery1/2 cup snipped fresh parsley1 10-oz pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained1/2 cup butter1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs1 pint shucked oysters, drained and chopped1 small clove garlic, mincedSeveral dashes bottled hot peper sauce1/4 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepperToast points or melba rounds
1. Cook and stir the onions, sweet pepper, celery, parsley, and spinach in the hot butter over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the bread crumbs, oysters, garlic, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook and stir 5 minutes more or until oysters are cooked through. Serve warm with toast points or melba rounds.
