Ingredients
4 Weetbix 3 Tbsp butter1 Tsp baking soda1 Egg, beaten1 cup sugar1 Cup dates1 Cup boiling water1 Cup self raising flour
Directions
Crush weetbix, add sugar, butter, dates and baking soda.
Pour over water
Stand 5 mins
Stir to blend and add egg, flour and mix well
Pour onto loaf tin and bake 1 hour, moderate oven.
