Tea Scones

Ingredients
4 c white flour1 c sugar1 stick butter3/4 c golden raisins1 tsp baking soda1 tsp cream of tarterpinch of saltwater
Directions
Soak raisins, in enough water to cover them, overnight. Combine flour, baking soda and cream of tarter in a large bowl. Work in softened butter with your hands. Add Sugar. Add raisins. Add enough water, a little at a time, just until dough holds together enough to make patties. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 12-15 biscuits.
