Ingredients
1-1/2 c. warm tap water2-1/2 t. active dry yeast5 T olive oil3-1/4 c. all-purpose flour2 t. salt
Directions
Whisk yeast and 3 T. oil into warm water. In bowl, mix flour and salt. Add water mixture to flour, beat vigorously one minute. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until double, approx. 1 hr. Spread half a tablespoon of oil into the large round or rectangular baking pan. Turn dough out of the bowl onto the pan, press to fill the pan completely. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with coarse salt, italian herbs, and/or shredded parmesan cheese. Allow to rise again until double, about 1 hour. Bake at 450 for 25 minutes.
