2 TBS. extra virgin olive oil1 tsp. bay leaf, crumbles (about 2 leaves)2 tsp. cumin seeds1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper1/2 tsp. turmeric, ground1/2 tsp. salt1 medium head cabbage, shredded1 1/4 cups frozen peas
Makes 4 servings.
1)Shred a medium sized head of cabbage.
2)In a large skillet, heat the first six ingredients for about 3-5 minutes to allow spices to release
their flavors into oil.
3)Add cabbage and toss well.
4)When cabbage starts to become translucent,
add the peas and cook until they are hot.
