Spaghetti sauce/fresh tomatoes

Ingredients
2 cups chopped onions2 cups chopped green peppers1 cup chopped celery4 cloves garlic, minced2 tbsp. olive oil3 (6-ounce) cans tomato paste3 (8-ounce) cans tomato sauce9 cups chopped fresh tomatoes2 bay leaves2 tsp. oregano1 tsp. basil1 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. pepper2 tsp. Mc Kays Beef Style Seasoning
Directions
Saute onions, green peppers, celery, and garlic until tender. Add remaining ingredients, simmer 1 hour. Remove bay leaves. Serve hot. Also freezes well.

    This is a GREAT recipe!!!! I made a large enough batch to can 19 Qt for the winter. I added Mrs wages Spaghetti seasoning so all I had to do was hot bath the Qts. for 40 min. Thank you!!!! - 8/20/11
