12 oz Morning Star Veggie Crumbles16 oz Ground Turkey 6 oz Lean Ground Beef2 cups chopped onions (2 large onions)12 oz V-8 Vegetable Juice Cocktail1 cup Ketchup1 cup Water4 tbsp Brown Sugar2 tbsp Prepared Spicy Brown Mustard4 tsp Chili Powder2 tsp Worcestershire SauceOptional:4 tbsp chopped canned jalapeno peppers
In a large skillet, cook ground meat. Pour into colander & rinse with hot tap water to rinse off excess fat.. Pour into large (5-6 quart) crock pot.
Add remaining ingredients and stir contents. Cover and cook on high for 3-5 hours or low for 10-12 hours.
Serve on sandwich buns. Sprinke with shredded cheddar if desired.
