Roberta's Meat Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
1 can Tomato soup, condensed1 375g bag egg noodles1lb ground beef, lean250g cheddar cheese3Tbsp ground marjoram1 green pepper, chopped1 cup onion, chopped1 can mushrooms, including water1/2 cup water
Directions
Cook and drain noodles.
Cook and drain beef, onions and green peppers.
Shred cheese.
Mix all ingredients, except water, in lg bowl and transfer to casserole dish.
Pour water on top. Cover with lid.
Bake at 350F for approx. 40 minutes or until bubbly and browned on top.

    High in fat so could reduce the cheese and great served with a big green salad. A large clove of minced garlic added to the onion and green pepper adds even more flavour. Tastes even better the next day. - 3/20/07
