Oatmeal Raisin-Walnut Cookies

1 stick -"I Can't Beleive It's Not Butter"3/4 cup packed brown sugar4 oz. egg beaters 1 teaspoon vanilla extract1/2 cup applesauce1 cup flour1/4 wheat germ1 teaspoon bakin soda2 teaspoons cinnamon1/2 teaspoon salt3 cups Quaker Oats1/2 cup raisins1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Beat together butter,sugar and applesauce until creamy.
3. Add egg beaters and vanilla ; beat well.
4. Add combined flour, wheat germ, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.
5. Stir in oats, raisins and walnuts; mix well.
6. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
7. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 3 dozen cookies
