Spicy Turnip Greens

1 slice turkey bacon1 Tbsp olive oil1 tablespoon onion powder or fresh onion1 tablespoons chopped garlic Dried herbs (blend of dried and ground oregano, thyme, rosemary, black pepper, and basil) 1 tablespoons season salt Sprinkle of red pepper flakes, to taste1/2 dried bay leaf 3 lb bag frozen greens2 cups chicken stock or broth 1 chicken bouillon cube 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Cook bacon in olive oil. Add onion, garlic, red pepper flakes until transluscent. Next add turnip greens, desired herbs, salt, broth or stock, and apple cider vinegar. Cook approximately 20 minutes or until done. Add honey, stir and serve. Makes 12 servings
