Black-Eyed Pea Salad/Dip

Ingredients
1/2 tsp fine sea salt1 garlic clove , minced1/4 c rice wine vinegar2 tblsp virgin olive oil1 tsp ground cumin3 c chopped tomatoes1 chopped onion2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro1 (15oz) can black-eyed peas(drained and rinsed)1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped1 (6oz) bag of baked pita chips
Directions
combine salt and garilc in a medium bowl; mash with a fork until a paste. Add vinegar, oil,and cumin. Add tomatoe and next four ingredients, toss.
Serve with pita chips, or as a side.
Yeald: 6 servings : serving size about 3/4 of a cup with 1oz of pita chips.
