Sharon's slow cooker beef roast

3 lb beef roast (your choice)1 14 oz can beef broth (I use low sodium)salt and pepper to tastegarlic to taste
Put frozen roast in slow cooker on low. Pour beef broth over roast. Salt, pepper and garlic over contents of cooker. Put on the lid, cook on low for 4-8 hours depending on size of roast, and desired doneness.
Be sure to leave it alone. The less you mess with it, the tenderer the meat.
When done to taste. Let sit for 5-10 minutes. Carve across the grain with very sharp knife for extra tenderness.
Use au jus for gravy base, or serve as is.
