Spicy Asian Green Beans

Ingredients
Beans-----------1 bag (22 oz) frozen whole green beansSauce-----------------1/2 cup orange juice1 1/4 teaspoons cornstarch2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes1 small clove garlic, finely chopped
Directions
1. Cook green beans as directed on bag. Drain; place in serving bowl.
2. Meanwhile, in 1-quart saucepan, mix sauce ingredients until well blended. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; simmer 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until thickened and clear.
3. Stir sauce into cooked green beans to coat.

    Very good, and I used fresh green bean from our garden and cooked them to crisp-tender. I'd add more citrus, like maybe orange peel for more flavor. Very easy to make and hubby liked them. - 7/24/15
